The summer holidays are over; the streets and campgrounds are empty and there are only a few people visiting popular sites. Beach huts are closed, only a very few people on the beach for a walk or playing with their dogs. Most of the restaurants are closed. You could just hear the sound of seagulls. Locals where having a coffee at the little café, the only café that was open near the fish market.

We like this atmosphere and the beauty of this melancholia. The emptiness is fantastic when taking pictures. It is very relaxing and is leaving room for other creative thoughts.

September and October is a wonderful time for traveling.

    1. Isn’t it a great, and calm time to travel. There is some melancholia in it… *When are you back in Berlin? Would like to meet .
